On Tuesday, the Montgomery County Council is expected to vote on Expedited Bill 30-25, which would remove the requirement for photographic evidence in complaints about gas-powered leaf blower use and clarify that a single complaint can initiate enforcement of the county’s ban.

On Monday, Nov. 10, Montgomery County Council committees will meet to continue reviewing the University Boulevard Corridor Plan, receive updates and consider a redesignation for the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation, and hear a briefing from Animal Services on shelter recommendations and the low-cost spay and neuter program.
