Earlier this month, we reported that there was movement at 15790 Shady Grove Rd., the site of the previously planned Amazon Fresh location (formerly Office Depot) in Gaithersburg. Now, signage reading “Delicious Groceries Coming Soon” with the Amazon logo is up on the building, confirming the rumors that the long-awaited Amazon grocery store will become a reality.

Kura Revolving Sushi continues to work towards opening at 12266 Rockville Pike in Federal Plaza later this year, taking over part of the space that was recently home to Chuy’s and previously home to Ruby Tuesday (full menu below). Torchy’s Tacos will be taking over the other part of the space.
Dawson’s Market, which announced last month that it would be permanently closing its location at 225 N. Washington St. in Rockville Town Square at the end of June, has revealed a new partnership with the Universities at Shady Grove.
