The original “viral Dubai chocolate bar” was created by Fix Dessert Chocolatier, a UAE-based brand founded by Sarah Hamouda in 2021. The original bar, named “Can’t Get Knafeh of It” is a milk chocolate bar filled with pistachio cream and kataifi, and various versions of it are selling online for as much as $40 per bar– our very own @MrMoCo301 found a local version and gave it a try (video below).
Bojangles is officially back in Maryland with its Frederick store opening today at 1312 W. Patrick St. Frederick, MD. Hours of operation are 6am-10pm every day of the week.

Buffalo Wild Wings introduced its first ‘Buffalo Wild Wings GO’ location, a scaled-down version of the restaurant that focuses on the to-go and delivery format, in Georgia back in 2020. Now, the company has signed on for its second location in the county (possibly first, depending on which one opens first).
Don Jorge’s Restaurant, located at 108 E Diamond Ave. in Olde Towne Gaithersburg, has closed permanently at its current location.
Jiang Court Asian Cuisine is now open at 18200 Georgia Avenue in Olney. The restaurant opened in August. (more…)
Back in March 2023 we let you know that the 100-year old building that is home to the Olney Ale House was sold to Two Sibs LLC, led by Selim Kantar, for $1.45 million. As construction progresses, the ale house will have its meeting with Montgomery County’s Alcoholic Beverage Services (ABS) for a liquor license on Thursday, September 19th at 9:30am.
