‘Khana a Claypot Grille’ closed permanently at the end of September after approximately ten years at 15616 Old Columbia Pike in Burtonsville. Its replacement did not take long to sign on at the once again fully leased Burtonsville Town Square shopping center with Quickway signing a lease to open a new restaurant.
Paris Baguette at 21030 Frederick Rd in the Milestone Center in Germantown is scheduled to open Saturday, November 30.

Black Friday remains a popular holiday tradition, with personal finance website WalletHub’s 2024 report revealing that more Americans in 2023 shopped online (90.6 million) than in stores (76.2 million). WalletHub analyzed over 4,300 deals from 13 major U.S. retailers for its updated 2024 Black Friday rankings, with JCPenney leading the list, offering an average discount of 76.2%, followed by Belk at 72.7% and Macy’s at 57.1%.
