Beauty 4U has signed on to take over the space that was the longtime home of Walgreens at 11215 New Hampshire Ave. in White Oak until closing the store permanently in February. The store is “coming soon” without an opening date available at this time.
Eater DC has released its list of “Hottest New Brunches to Try Around D.C.” with most restaurants on the list being in DC proper and just one from Maryland. The Maryland restaurant is none other than San Pancho Burritos, which recently opened at 7056 Carroll Ave in Takoma Park.
It has been more than three years since we let you know that Sake Japanese Steak House is coming to the former location of Bar Louie at Wheaton Mall (11006 Veirs Mill Rd in Wheaton). The restaurant is now in its soft opening phase and taking reservations.
168 Seasons Restaurant, featuring cuisine from Hong Kong, is now open at 316 N Washington St. in Rockville (photos by @YaoFomo). The new restaurant has taken over the location that was previously home to Xi’An Gourmet/Hot Pot for approximately five years. Xi’An has been listed as “temporarily closed” on Google, but 168 Seasons signage recently went up and the restaurant held its soft opening last week.

In recent years, many restaurant owners have shared how difficult and time consuming the process to open a restaurant in Montgomery County can be. Today the Montgomery County Council unanimously approved executive regulations to reduce red tape and speed up the approval process for restaurant permitting.
“SOLD OUT. We’re sorry but we did not anticipate the quantity of burritos y’all can throw down.” San Pancho Burritos, which recently opened at 7056 Carroll Ave in Takoma Park, was forced to close early on Monday after selling out of burritos. The restaurant will reopen on Wednesday morning at 8am.
San Pancho Burritos opened on Saturday in Takoma Park at 7056 Carroll Ave serving San Francisco-style burritos. After moving Cielo Rojo restaurant to its new, bigger location at 7211 Carroll Ave, owners Carolina McCandless and David Perez transformed the original Cielo Rojo space into San Pancho Burritos.
