This past spring we let you know that Fork & Kitchen signed on to open at 150 Gibbs St. in The Square (formerly Rockville Town Square). Initially aiming for a summer opening, a few delays were encountered, but interior construction has begun and the restaurant could open later this year (photos below).

Montgomery County residents will soon have three more spots to grab their morning coffee and donuts. As we’ve previously reported, Dunkin’ is planning new locations in Derwood, along Norbeck Road in Rockville, and as part of the upcoming Rockshire Village redevelopment across from Wootton High School.

K BAP Express is now serving customers at 121B Congressional Lane, in the space that was most recently home to Pines of Rome Express. the carry-out and delivery focused offshoot of the beloved Bethesda Italian restaurant Closed its doors after less than two years in business.
Rockville has a new late-night spot for kebab lovers. Yuxaflame, located at 1488 Rockville Pike A (outside of Hulu Skewers), is now open from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. nightly, serving up a short but flavorful menu of just three dishes (video below).

The Limerick Pub, a longtime staple of Wheaton’s dining and nightlife scene, has officially announced a change in ownership. The pub shared a couple weeks back that Luis Reyes, a familiar face to many regulars, is now the new owner along with his wife Maria, his brother Mauricio, and his sister Marina.
Two Maryland restaurants have landed on Washingtonian’s latest list of “5 New Breakfast and Brunch Spots to Check Out Around DC.” Bouboulina in North Bethesda and Lapu Lapu, which has a location in Gaithersburg, are both drawing attention for their distinct approaches to the brunch experience.
