Montgomery County’s last remaining Jerry’s Subs & Pizza (8517 Colesville Rd. Silver Spring, MD) will close permanently on Friday, January 31st, the store confirmed via phone call this morning. Update: Several readers have shared they tried going on Tuesday and the restaurant was already closed. Phone calls made to Jerry’s were not answered Tuesday afternoon.

The iconic Dunkin’ at 2405 Reedie Drive in Wheaton is temporarily closed as it undergoes major renovations. An exact reopening date isn’t available, but the remodeling appears to be extensive for the store that has been there for more than 50 years.
