Spirit Halloween is hiring for a seasonal store at Clarksburg Premium Outlets, making it the first confirmed Montgomery County store in the 2026 Halloween season.

The North Face has opened its newest Maryland location at Clarksburg Premium Outlets (22705 Clarksburg Road), bringing one of the world’s most recognizable outdoor brands to Montgomery County.
Permanent signage has been installed at Orange Pocket in Rio in Gaithersburg. The Japanese and Korean-inspired pop culture and lifestyle retailer is now expected to open in mid-August at 30 Grand Corner Avenue, taking over the former Pier 1 Imports and seasonal Spirit Halloween space. (more…)
The third and final tenant has officially signed on to complete the redevelopment of the former Party City space in the Kentlands. STRONG Pilates will occupy the remaining storefront, joining VEG ER for Pets and Wonder in the subdivided retail space.

Maryland’s first Sugared + Bronzed is coming to downtown Bethesda. The national beauty brand will open at 4939 Elm St. in the Shoppes of Bethesda, taking over the space most recently occupied by Chip City. Before Chip City, the storefront was home to Fancy Cakes by Leslie and, years earlier, a neighborhood pet shop.
