Koala Kreme will officially celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, June 20, at noon at its new location in The Square at Rockville. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the local Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for Friday ahead of the public grand opening festivities. (more…)

The holidays are set to sparkle once again in Rockville as The Square hosts its annual Rockville Tree Lighting on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The event will take place at 36 Maryland Avenue (formerly Rockville Town Square), bringing the community together for an evening filled with music, performances, and holiday cheer.

Recently, Rockville Mayor Monique Ashton posted a photo of the grocery store nearly completed, and an employee from a nearby location indicated that a mid-June opening is possible.
