Claire’s is no longer running a store closing sale at its location at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. According to a store representative, staff were instructed to remove the signage over the weekend. (more…)
A new family-owned bagel shop and cafe is set to join Bethesda’s culinary scene this fall at Montgomery Mall. Esvin’s Bagels and Cafe expects to open its doors this fall, in approximately two months, bringing freshly baked bagels and more to the community. The cafe will be located on the lower level across from Kapow Buddy, near the Old Navy and Cheesecake Factory area.

In April, Biz Journals reported that Unibal-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) had defaulted on a roughly $235 million securitized loan tied to Westfield Wheaton, the largest mall in suburban Maryland (DC Region) and the fourth largest in the Greater Washington area. Cinnabon is celebrating its 40th anniversary by offering its Classic Cinnamon Roll for $1.25, the same price as when the bakery first opened in 1985.
