Update: All lanes of US-29 (Colesville Rd) between Fenton St and Spring St have reopened. Expect residual delays.
The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) issued a traffic advisory at 7:08 p.m. following an incident involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Spring Street and Colesville Road. Montgomery County has announced that the Preservation Hall Jazz Band will headline the free Silver Spring Jazz Festival on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Veterans Plaza.
