Montgomery Parks is inviting families to enjoy a day of nature, creativity, and fun at Children’s Day at Brookside Gardens on Sunday, September 21, 2025, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free, family-friendly event is sponsored by Friends of Brookside Gardens and will offer handson gardening activities for children and a chance to explore the newly designed Children’s Garden.

The Limerick Pub, a longtime staple of Wheaton’s dining and nightlife scene, has officially announced a change in ownership. The pub shared a couple weeks back that Luis Reyes, a familiar face to many regulars, is now the new owner along with his wife Maria, his brother Mauricio, and his sister Marina.
