Montgomery County’s 2025 Annual Farm Tour and Harvest Sale returns Saturday and Sunday, July 26–27, with 27 participating farms, orchards, breweries and wineries opening their gates to the public.

The Gaithersburg Mayor and City Council granted approval of the Gateway Lakeforest Zoning Map Amendment Z-9928-2024 at their July 7, 2025 meeting. This is different than the Lakeforest Redevelopment project.

Come enjoy the day at our annual Washington Grove Arts and Craft Festival in a beautiful outdoor setting. This festival highlights local artisans including wood creations, pottery, visual art, household products and so much more. We also have food trucks from El Parente Tacos, El Jeffe Wood-fired pizzas, Bruster’s Ice Cream and beverages from Saints Row Brewery. Bring the whole family because we have a kids activity area too. The Springsong Museum, a nonprofit organization, is seeking to fund and build a museum honoring Rachel Carson, a pioneering writer, biologist, and Silver Spring resident. The museum will be located at Burnt Mills East Park, a serene setting adjacent to the Northwest Branch Trail in Silver Spring, and will repurpose the existing historic 1929 WSSC water filtration facility building.
