Per MCPD: Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old from Gaithersburg. Yaquelin Suleyma Hernandez Ramirez was last seen on the morning of Sunday, December 10, 2022, at her residence in the 400 block of Muddy Branch Rd. in Gaithersburg. She may in company of her twin infant boys.

Hernandez is approximately 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.   Police and family are concerned for her welfare.  Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Yaquelin Suleyma Hernandez Ramirez is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Special Victims Investigations Division at (240) 773-5400. Silver Spring

During the five-month investigation, detectives observed male clients entering and leaving the “spa” and learned that the clients were offered extra services with prices based on the sexual service provided.


Damascus

Jones is described as approximately 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a light gray sweatsuit (sweatpants and hooded sweatshirt). Jones is driving a dark gray 2019 Mazda CX-9 crossover style vehicle with MD registration 8EW5288. Police and family are concerned for her welfare.

Silver Spring

Torrey Moore, 31, of Silver Spring will continue to be held without bond while he undergoes a mental health evaluation.  His next appearance in court is on December 19. Moore was charged last week with first degree murder and possession of a firearm while committing a felony in connection with the shooting death of 61-year-old Ayalew Wondimu at a White Oak Shell station on December 8. Today Montgomery County State’s Attorney John McCarthy announced that the county plans on charging Moore with additional murder charges for the death of a pregnant 26-year-old woman who was found decomposing in Moore’s apartment, as well as her unborn viable fetus. McCarthy revealed that the woman had been shot and its believed her dead body had been in the apartment over a month.

Bethesda

The investigation by detectives has revealed that the suspect entered the apartment building, stole a person’s electric wheelchair that was in the parking garage and left the scene.  Detectives reviewed the surveillance cameras of the apartment building and obtained video of the suspect.


Silver Spring

Two suspects us are in custody after an incident early Sunday morning in Silver Spring. According to Montgomery County Police, officers responded to Three Oaks Dr around 12:20am on Sunday morning. When police arrived, they observed a vehicle fleeing the scene. After a short pursuit, the suspects crashed and abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. They’ve were taken into custody near Flower Ave in Takoma Park.

It was determined that the vehicle the suspects were driving was stolen and a handgun was recovered at the scene. Police initially responded to the area for reports of shots fired, but there are no indication shots occurred and it was likely the sound of the suspects breaking into the vehicle. We will post an update when additional information is available.


Silver Spring

Per MCPD: Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division have arrested and charged 31-year-old Torrey Moore of Silver Spring, with a homicide that occurred on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in the 11100 block of New Hampshire Ave.

At approximately 3:03 p.m., 3rd District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue responded to a Shell Station (Dash In Convenience Store) in the 11100 block of New Hampshire Ave. for the report of a shooting that just occurred.Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim, later identified as 61-year-old, Ayalew Wondimu of Silver Spring, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Wondimu, an employee of the Dash In Convenience Store, was pronounced dead on scene.

Ortega is described as approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighs 270 pounds. It is unknown what he was last seen wearing. Police and family are concerned for his welfare.

White Oak

Montgomery County Police have announced that an arrest has been made in connection to yesterday’s shooting death of a Shell Station employee at 11500 New Hampshire Ave. According to MCPD, “Chief Marcus Jones will address the media regarding the arrest of a suspect involved in the shooting death of a gas station employee on Thursday, December 8. Chief Jones and representatives from the Major Crimes Division will provide details surrounding the arrest of the suspect.”

Per MCPD: On Thursday, December 8, 2022, at approximately 3:03 p.m., 3rd District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue responded to a Shell Station in the 11100 block of New Hampshire Avenue for the report of a shooting that just occurred.  Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, who was an employee of the business, was pronounced dead on scene.


Silver Spring

Per MCPD: Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 61-year-old man from Silver Spring. Manuel DeJesus Aguilar was last seen by family on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at approximately 7 a.m., in the 3900 block of Bel Pre Rd.

Aguilar is described as approximately 6-feet tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and short black hair. Aguilar may be wearing a black leather jacket and white sneakers.  Police and family are concerned for his welfare.
