On Sunday, February 20, 2022, at approximately 7:08 a.m., 4th District Officers responded to the 7-Eleven store in the 3500 block of University Blvd. West for the report of an armed robbery that just occurred.
The investigation by detectives determined that three suspects arrived at the location in a black Honda Ridgeline, which they had just allegedly stolen from Live Oak Dr. in Montgomery County. The suspects entered the store, displayed handguns and demanded an employee to remove money from the cash register. The employee complied with the suspects’ demands. A round was fired into the store, but no one was struck. One of the suspects stole a key fob from a customer in the store. The suspects then exited the store, and one of the suspects fled the scene in the customer’s vehicle, a gray Lexus RX. The other two suspects fled in the Honda.

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) are investigating a pedestrian collision that occurred today, April 28, 2022, at the intersection of Tuckerman Lane and Kings Riding Way in North Bethesda. At approximately 9:57 a.m., 2nd District Officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the location for the report of a pedestrian struck.
16th Street at Lyttonsville Road is closed in both directions as a result of the collision, according to Montgomery County Police. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route and to expect significant delays.

The investigation by detectives determined that the pedestrian was jogging across southbound Tuckerman Lane, in the crosswalk. For reasons still under investigation, the operator of a 2019 Subaru Forester, who was traveling westbound on Tuckerman Lane, struck the pedestrian in the crosswalk. This crosswalk is equipped with a push-to-activate pedestrian signal. Detectives are investigating whether the signal was activated. The adult male driver of the Subaru remained on scene. The 74-year-old male victim was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The name of the deceased will be released following proper notification of the family. This is an active and ongoing investigation. The Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continues to investigate this collision. On the same date, officers from the 2nd District responded to the 8000 block of Glenbrook Road for the report of a burglary that occurred earlier. Detectives obtained surveillance footage, which showed the suspect kicking in the back storm door to gain entry to the residence at approximately 5 a.m. The video footage later showed the suspect leaving the residence at approximately 11 a.m. Nothing was taken from the residence.
The suspect is described as a white male with a mustache, long black hair and medium build. The suspect was wearing a black jacket, black pants and grey sneakers.
The suspect is described as a male, wearing a white t-shirt, cargo shorts and a baseball cap. The investigation by detectives has determined that on December 13, at approximately 12:40 p.m., the suspected entered the SkyPoint Federal Credit Union in the 19700 block of Crystal Rock Dr. in Germantown. The suspect approached a bank teller, identified herself as the victim’s wife via a fraudulent identification card and withdrew an undisclosed amount of money from the victim’s account. The suspect then exited the bank and fled the scene. Again, on December 13, 2021, at approximately 1:25 p.m., the suspect arrived at the SkyPoint Federal Credit Union on Colesville Rd., presented the fraudulent identification card and withdrew an undisclosed amount of money from the same victim’s account.
Later the same day, at approximately 1:50 p.m., the suspect withdrew an undisclosed amount of money from the victim’s account, using the same fraudulent method from the Rockville branch. The suspect has been described as a female, around 50-years-old, medium build, blonde hair, wearing a brown scarf, black jacket, black jeans and black boots.
Ardee is 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 140 lbs. She has brown eyes and black hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white jacket. Family and police are concerned for her welfare.
