Wednesday Morning Update: Winter Weather Advisory
A winter weather advisory is in effect from 7pm this evening until 10am Thursday morning. 1-3 inches of snow is expected during this time.
Tuesday Night Update on Wednesday-Friday Storm
This will be another two-part storm. Part one will likely start on Wednesday night and continue into Thursday afternoon before we see a lull until Thursday night into midday Friday.

We suspect that a Winter Weather Watch will be issued at some point later today.
Another one…Wednesday Night to Friday Storm
The threat is now 2-3 days away so let’s get into it. Right now, the National Weather Service is called for 4-6” for most of MoCo and 3-4” for areas like Bethesda and Silver Spring.

Due to the rain changing over later than anticipated, totals were cut in more than half for most places as the NWS forecasted 4-6” of snow for MoCo prior to the start of the storm.

The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for Tuesday morning, 2/9.
Sunday Morning Storm Update
Half of MoCo has been changed over to a Winter Weather Advisory while the other half remains under a Winter Weather Warning. Both last until noon today.
