Willie T’s Seafood Shack and BRB (be right burger) are both moving in to 9326 Georgia Avenue (joint restaurant), between Islands Tropical Ice Cream and Goldberg’s New York Bagels, in the location that was formerly home to Andy’s Restaurant (h/t @SilverSpringEats).

Sligo Ave is blocked between Fenton St and Grove St in Silver Spring due to a natural gas leak.
Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Pete Piringer reports that a construction crew hit a gas line and MCFRS is currently on the scene.
Update: Joseph Efrain Salazar has been located safe and unharmed.

CVS at 12209 Veirs Mill Rd, located in the same shopping center as Korean Korner and Unique Thrift, is closing. A sign on the front door lets customers know that prescriptions sent to this pharmacy will now be filled at the CVS at 11190 Viers Mill Road in Wheaton.
Montgomery County Police Officers responded to reports of a large car meet-up Saturday night at a parking lot on Cherry Hill Rd in Silver Spring which involved more than 100 vehicles, according to the MCPD. After the meet was broken up by police, the drivers descended to Downtown Silver Spring where Fenton Street and Ellsworth Plaza were temporarily shut down by drivers doing donuts and setting off fireworks.
Some drivers were cited by police but no arrests were made following the incident.
