Most Montgomery County theaters will be offering $4 movie tickets this Sunday, August 27 as a part of the 2nd annual National Cinema Day. According to www.nationalcinemaday.org, the tickets are for “every movie, every showtime, and every format.” Some theaters will also offer food and drink discounts, such as Regal, who are offering $4 concessions. Participating theaters include:

  • AMC-Montgomery Mall
  • AMC-Rio
  • AMC-Wheaton
  • Cinépolis-Gaithersburg
  • Landmark Bethesda Row Cinema
  • Regal- Germantown
  • Regal-Rockville
  • Regal- Downtown Silver Spring

According to Regal, “The first edition of National Cinema Day recorded over 8.1 million visitors to movie theatres across the country, setting the single day attendance record for 2022,” said Eduardo Acuna, CEO at Cineworld Group, parent company of Regal. “This year with $4 movies and a $4 concession combo, Regal hopes to welcome even more guests on National Cinema Day to see why we are ‘The Best Place to Watch a Movie!'”
