Richard Montgomery Girls Volleyball Wins State Championship

Richard Montgomery High School Girls Volleyball has won the Maryland State Championship, defeating Leonardtown 4-1. The team finished the season with a 22-3 overall record.

• WAY TO GO ROCKETS!!! This is the first regional title since 2011. I am so proud of this team! They are truly amazing! if you missed the excitement tonight, don’t worry because we aren’t done yet!! The state quarterfinals will be held this Friday at RM!!

• Rockets advance to state semis after defeating Perry Hall 3-9. Next up STATE SEMIFINALS !! !! Way to go Rockets!!!! Thanks for showing up Rocket Nation!!

• They are the ONLY team in @mcps_athletics heading to State Semis!

• Your girls did it again!!! ROCKETS ADVANCE TO THE STATE FINALS WITH A 3-0 against Reservoir!!! There are no more words…LOVE THIS TEAM!!

• STATE CHAMPIONS!! I’ve said it before and I will continue to say it…our team = the best team!!!I love this team!

Free Community Father-Daughter Dance

Fathers and father figures, create unforgettable memories with your daughter at our free community father-daughter dance on June 1st, from 6-8 pm. Hosted outdoors at Olney Baptist Church.
