Health Pack Meals has soft opened at 340 Main St. in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood. For now, their hours of operation will be Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30am until 3pm.

Health Pack Meals founder Levon Meliksetyan, or Lev, is a personal trainer in Montgomery County who decided to create a way to make healthy meal options easily accessible. In 2018 he founded Health Pack Meals with the simple idea that “healthy eating should be easy, accessible, convenient, and delicious.”

The storefront allows customers to walk in and customize a meal from the grab & go menu, one-time orders to pick up their meals at the store, and existing clients wishing to avoid delivery fees on standard subscription to pick up orders. Customers will be able to come to the store, see the available options and have their choice of protein, carbs, vegetables, salads, toppings, and sauces. Customers will also have the option for daily chef’s specials. These are dishes curated by Health Pack Meal chefs, which will “showcase their creativity and talent, all while providing delicious and nutritious meals to customers.”

“While trying to identify more ways to help members of our community lead more intentional and healthy lifestyles, we noticed a lack of healthy food options that were quick and easily accessible. This led us to begin the process of opening our first location in Kentlands. As Montgomery County natives, Kentlands is near and dear to our hearts. The Kentlands neighborhood is home to many businesses that we support and love, and we couldn’t be happier to officially join the community and add to what the incredible and diverse businesses in the area have to offer.”

Per Health Pack Meals: “Lev has always been passionate about his work, earning numerous certifications from NASM, Precision Nutrition, and others as part of his efforts to be the best support to his clients as he could be. With constant brainstorming to develop new methods and strategies to help his clients, he realized physical training was only a piece of the puzzle and that his clients were missing a key ingredient to meet their goals — better food. So, he channeled his personal passion for cooking and developed clean, well-balanced meals for each of his individual clients to help them meet their specific goals. The results spoke for themselves! Due to Lev’s reputation in the fitness world and word of mouth regarding the quality of his meals, this tailored meal prep process quickly evolved and Health Pack Meals was born.

Soon after its start, Lev knew he could no longer manage his business alone, so his family joined the pack to help, and he also began hiring employees in effort to support further growth. Over the past five years, Health Pack Meals has seen substantial growth in the DMV area, even shipping to other states, like Florida. We currently offer weekly deliveries in the DMV area. We welcome one-time orders, as well as no obligation weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly subscriptions. It was crucial for us to meet the needs of all our clients, so we cater to the fact that everyone has different dietary and lifestyle needs and preferences. This is why we offer a wide variety of meal options, including vegan, gluten-free, and low-carb meals. All our meals, except for the Chef’s Specials, can be customized. First time customers get 20% off with the code: PACK20. You can check out our website to see our menu at www.healthpackmeals.com.”
