Crime

ICE Baltimore announced that it arrested Wilmer Antonio Echenique-Navarro, who was referred to as a “Venezuelan alien & Tren de Aragua gang member” on March 18. ICE noted that “@PGCorrections failed to honor ICE detainer & released him, putting MD residents at risk. He remains in ICE custody.” about a year after his arrest for a murder in an unincorporated section of Takoma Park.

Every two years, the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) Eastern Division Conference unites the European Music Educators Association with top student musicians from the mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions—including the District of Columbia.
