Auntie Anne’s to Close Permanently in Lakeforest Mall

An employee at Auntie Anne’s in Lakeforest Mall let us know that the last day the location will be open is Sunday, December 27th.

A listing on Capital Online Auctions incorrectly states the location has already closed, but does offer more information regarding the equipment that will be available via auction on Monday, December 21st. The equipment can be picked up as early as December 28th, the day after the restaurant closes.

Per the auction website:

“Auntie Anne’s has shut their doors and most equipment must go. Gaithersburg, Maryland (Local pickup only. No items will be shipped)

Preview: Monday, December 21, 2020 9am to 11:00am. A link to the preview will appear here the day before the preview date.

Online only auction starts closing at 1pm on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. The first item in catalog order will close at 1pm, then 1 item per minute, thereafter. If there are any bids in the final 3 minutes, that item(s) will be extended for 3 additional minutes, and keep extending as long as there is a bid in the 3 minute extension(s)

Removal: Monday, December 28, 2020 from 7am-10am (Buyers must sign up for appointment on Sign Up Genius). A link will be sent on winner’s invoices.  Local pickup only, no items will be shipped.”
