DC Teenager Murdered in Gaithersburg Earlier This Week
Around 3:20PM Thursday, February 4, Gaithersburg and Montgomery County Police Officers discovered a teenage male deceased behind a business located in the 15700 block of Shady Grove Road. Responders had been called to the scene by passerby who observed a person laying on the ground.
Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Detectives have identified the victim as 19-year-old Tyshun Gary Jaheim Williams, of Washington, DC. The Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) reported that the victim suffered fatal gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Detectives believe that Williams was killed in the late evening of Wednesday, February 3, the day before his body was found.
Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Detectives ask anyone who has information about this homicide to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
