FlexPods Now Open in MoCo; Fully Equipped Wellness Studios Available For Personal Trainers, Instructors, Coaches, Photographers, and More

FlexPods™, a fitness and wellness rental space, has opened at 5020 Nicholson court suite 207 A in Kensington MD (off of Rockville Pike). The concept is designed to support professionals in building their businesses by providing the space, tools, and support needed to become successful entrepreneurs, according to founder Laurent Amzallag. According to Amzallag, FlexPods provides innovative, high-end, turn-key, and fully equipped studios without the hassle of having to own or rent conventional spaces. Studios are also available for photographers and producers doing fitness shoots or wellness videos.

Amzallag tells us the space allows its users to be their boss, set their schedule, and keep 100% of their profits. FlexPods includes four full studios that can be used by personal trainers, physical/massage therapists, pilates/yoga instructors, boxing, group coaches, and more. Per the press release, Laurent Amzallag has been a well-known fitness trainer in North Bethesda for over 25 years. He has worked at some of the region’s most popular studios and gyms as well as hosted numerous live events around the city and helped to transform popular DC night spots into giant fitness parties. Laurent is a regular on the media circuit, having appeared on Oprah’s Live Your Best Life Tour, the Dr.Oz Show, TEDx talks, and many local news programs.

“I was working out of a local gym but when I realized how much of my earnings went toward space rental, and traveling to and from clients’ houses, which was an extremely inefficient use of my time, I began thinking that there must be a better option.” Laurent continues, “Then I began thinking of getting my own space, but the costs associated were too high and then the pandemic hit and everything shut down. I needed an affordable, private and curated space and there were none to be found, so I developed a “model” studio pod for myself and used this model to create FlexPods.”

Each FlexPods studio is outfitted with cutting-edge fitness equipment and state-of-the-art media systems so you can provide more professional in-person and virtual sessions, as well as content creation for social media. In addition, FlexPods owners have access to exclusive content such as a library of fitness videos, pre-made newsletters, and meal plans that can be shared with their clients. FLEXPODS will offer business development tools to serve fitness professionals in every stage of running a business. FlexPods members can also benefit from cross-referrals and a built-in network of other fitness and wellness professionals.

FlexPods are available by the hour, day, week, or even month. Prices begin at $17 per hour depending on the type of studio. Each studio comes fully equipped. For more information, visit flexpodstudios.com
