Locally Crafted to Reopen Saturday, October 15 in a New Location at Rio

by Patrick Herron

Locally Crafted in Gaithersburg’s Rio will be reopening on Saturday, October 15, in a new location. The store is relocating from 125 Boardwalk Pl. one block down to 201 Boardwalk Pl, the former site of Jos. A. Bank and Stay Social.

About Locally Crafted:
“Locally Crafted is a community space where artists can showcase their unique products.  Customers will experience seeing the items in person, rather than through an online store, giving them the opportunity to feel and see the quality in person.  Locally Crafted appeals to customers who value unique items and prefer supporting makers from their own community over national corporate big chain stores.

As a female owned small business we are invested in helping to support other small businesses. By carrying only locally made products, we are creating a bridge between local makers and interested customers, enhancing the unique character of our community and helping the local economy by supporting small businesses in the neighborhood.”
