Luis Davila-Marerro, 42, was sentenced in Montgomery County Circuit Court to 35 years in prison for kidnapping, carjacking, and robbery following a 2024 incident involving a taxi driver and her son, with the sentence to run consecutively to a prior 10-year term for burglary and probation violations. Montgomery Parks’ annual deer population management program will occur from September 2025 to March 2026. The program includes two new parks this year—Oak Ridge Conservation Park in Damascus and Little Bennett Creek Stream Valley Park in Clarksburg.
