Andy’s Pizza is opening a new location at 145 Commerce Square Place in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood, taking over the space formerly occupied by MOD Pizza, which closed in March 2024. On Saturday, Laurel Police shared that during the city’s Main Street Festival, “officers swiftly intervened when a driver recklessly breached barriers and drove into the crowd.”
Per Laurel Police: “Thanks to their rapid response, no festival-goers were harmed. However, during the incident, one of our officers did sustain minor injuries after being struck by her vehicle.
