The Clarksburg High School Ambassadors leadership club raised over $2,000 to provide 60 Thanksgiving dinners for families in need at Clarksburg High School and Rocky Hill Middle School. The 60-member club collected donations throughout October and November, allowing the schools to identify 60 families who could benefit from additional support during the Thanksgiving holiday. Update: A multi-vehicle collision, including a tractor-trailer, occurred on southbound I-270 between Montrose Road and the I-270 Spur around 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26.

According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, one person was trapped and extricated from a passenger car by emergency responders and was transported with Priority 2 trauma. Some lanes remain blocked as of 4pm.
