Police Continue Investigating Bethesda Home Invasion and Germantown Shootings

In press releases published December 22nd, Montgomery County Police provided updates on two of their ongoing investigations:

Bethesda Home Invasion

Shortly before 9PM on December 11th, 2nd District Police Officers responded to the 6500 block of Elgin Lane in the Bannockburn area of Bethesda for a reported armed home invasion.

Officers determined 3 masked male suspects who were armed with handguns entered a home and demanded money.

The suspects feld prior to obtaining anything and were gone when police arrived. The suspects fled the area in a vehicle, possibly a newer BMW.

Shots Fired in Germantown at the Middlebrook Mobile Home Park

Around 8:30PM on Sunday, December 13, Montgomery County 5th District Police Officers responded to 911 calls reporting shots fired at the Middlebrook Mobile Home Park.

Officers discovered one mobile home that had been struck by one bullet and one vehicle that had been hit by gunfire twice.

Luckily, nobody was injured. The 5th District Investigative Section is investigating this incident; they can be reached at 240-773-6237.

The 5th District is also investigating a shooting that occured at Cider Barrel Drive & Gunners Terrace, also in Germantown.
