On January 16 at approximately 2:25 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Ellsworth Drive for the report of an altercation involving a gun.
The investigation has determined that the male juvenile victim was skateboarding with friends when he became involved in a verbal dispute with a passing motorist. The motorist stopped and exited her vehicle, and the two began arguing in the street. A crowd began to form.
The two female suspects were walking on Ellsworth Drive at the time of the dispute. One of the female suspects approached the juvenile victim and interjected herself in the dispute. The second female suspect went to a red Volvo that was parked in the area and drove it close to the dispute. She then gave a handgun to the first suspect, who used it to threaten the victim. Witnesses captured the incident on their cell phones.
