Montgomery County Police are investigating a carjacking that occurred Tuesday night in Bethesda. According to police, “At approximately 8:18 p.m., MCP officers responded to the 4000 block of Chevy Chase Dr. for the report of a carjacking that just occurred. The preliminary investigation has revealed that the suspects assaulted an adult male victim, stole his vehicle, and left the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries.” According to public safety reporter Cordell Pugh, the victim was an elderly man that had his 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee stolen.
