Bethesda’s Soorp Khatch Armenian Apostolic Church will host its annual Armenian Food Festival from Friday, Sept. 19 to Sunday, Sept. 21, offering the community a weekend filled with traditional cuisine and celebration. Construction begins this month on the large playground at Greenbriar Local Park (12525 Glen Road in Potomac), which has been closed since a May 2024 fire caused significant damage. Work is expected to continue through mid-November, according to Montgomery Parks.
