The honor was presented at the 43rd Director’s Honorary Awards ceremony, recognizing their role in the capture of a murder suspect accused of murdering a Maryland Parole Agent in Montgomery County, MD.

Maryland State Police are investigating the death of 36-year-old Virginia woman who was found unresponsive below I-495 near MacArthur Boulevard on Wednesday night after troopers discovered her unattended vehicle on the shoulder.
A new family-owned bagel shop and cafe is set to join Bethesda’s culinary scene this fall at Montgomery Mall. Esvin’s Bagels and Cafe expects to open its doors this fall, in approximately two months, bringing freshly baked bagels and more to the community. The cafe will be located on the lower level across from Kapow Buddy, near the Old Navy and Cheesecake Factory area.
Cheesy Pizzi, located at 8021 Wisconsin Ave. in Bethesda, has permanently closed its doors. The closure marks the end of an era for the local eatery, which began as Pizza Tempo according to its website.
Update: The deceased is identified as Madina Rhine, 36, of McLean, Virginia. Emergency medical service personnel from Montgomery County pronounced Rhine deceased at the scene. She was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death.
Shortly before 10:20pm last night, Maryland State Troopers from the Rockville Barrack were dispatched to the outer loop of I-495 prior to the American Legion Bridge for a welfare check. Upon their arrival, troopers located an unattended silver Toyota 4Runner on the right shoulder. Moments later, a woman was located, later identified as Rhine, lying unresponsive directly below I-495 along MacArthur Boulevard.
