On Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:25pm, the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department responded to a technical rescue situation on the 13700 block of Central Avenue, Largo, at Six Flags America. Park staff worked alongside Technical Rescue units to safely evacuate about 32 riders who were stuck on a ride.
With the upcoming closure of Six Flags in Bowie, MD, attention is turning to the new Kalahari Resort under construction in Spotsylvania, VA. The site is located less than 75 miles south of Washington, D.C., and about 80 miles from central Montgomery County, MD. (more…)
