Back in October, Baltimore Police arrested 24-year-old John Callis of Baltimore following the brutal assault that was captured in a viral video of the man assaulting two Washington Commanders fans following this past season’s Ravens/Commanders game. The man was arrested, and today he was sentenced.
All-Pro defensive end/edge rusher Myles Garrett requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns, where he has spent his whole career since being drafted with the first pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Today, he announced that he has requested a trade from Cleveland and the Washington Commanders are near the top of the list of teams who may acquire his services, according to Vegas oddsmakers at BetOnline.AG
Three individuals were convicted in Baltimore City for illegally disposing of hazardous materials, following an investigation by the Maryland Attorney General’s Office, Baltimore City Fire Department, and Maryland Department of the Environment, with sentencing scheduled for March and April 2025. A hit-and-run in Gaithersburg on January 27, 2025, led to a stolen vehicle, a home invasion in Germantown, and an armed police pursuit across state lines, ending in Virginia with the arrest of 32-year-old Esmeraldo Martinez De La Cruz, who was reported missing from New York along with his 4-year-old daughter. Martinez now faces multiple charges in both Virginia and Montgomery County. (more…)
