Two of the region’s hottest food brands are teaming up for a creative new crossover. Steezeburger, named the number one burger in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, and Virginia) by The Washington Post, is collaborating with PhoWheelz, the popular Vietnamese fusion spot that opened its Burtonsville restaurant earlier this year, to create a Steezeburger taco available for a limited time from October 24 through November 30.

Burtonsville bid farewell to its 7-Eleven, located at 15585 Old Columbia Pike, this past spring. The building is set to be demolished as part of the plans for Wawa to open its second Montgomery County location on the current site of 7-Eleven and the adjacent Mattress and More Liquidators (15595 Old Columbia Pike). A representative from Mattress and More Liquidators shared with us that the store is expected to close in October.

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will offer low-cost adult bike classes this fall, including 11 Learn to Ride sessions, one Basic Skills class, and two free walk-up e-scooter classes, with registration required and bicycles and helmets provided for participants.
