KEEN Greater D.C., a nonprofit volunteer organization (based in Bethesda) that provides free on-to-one recreational activities to children and adults with disabilities, celebrates 32 years Sunday, June 2 at Timberlawn Local Park in Rockville (off Tuckerman Lane) from 11am-2:30pm.
The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair returns Friday, August 9th and will run through Saturday, August 17th at the fairgrounds in Gaithersburg. This will be the 75th annual fair and its fourth year back after having to cancel for the first time in its 70+ year history in 2020 due to Covid restrictions. MCPS recently shared the news of Gaithersburg High School hosted a Special Education Prom on May 17. More than 100 students from Watkins Mill, Albert Einstein and Wheaton joined Gaithersburg students in the school café for a catered event, complete with a DJ and dancing.
