Gaithersburg’s 12,300-square-foot skate park will reopen on April 12th for spring break. The park will then remain open on weekends only after spring break until April 30th, before the late spring/summer schedule begins. All schedules are available below.

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has announced that it has arrested and charged a Gaithersburg, MD man working as a security guard in connection to the fatal shooting on Saturday night.

On Thursday evening in Montgomery County’s Circuit Court, Judge Jill Cummins sentenced defendant, Cynthia Moore, 42, of Montgomery Village, to 30 years in prison suspending all but 21 years to serve and five years of supervised probation upon release after Moore was previously convicted on six counts of child neglect.
