Last year, Bowlero Corporation announced a rebrand to Lucky Strike Entertainment. This transformation includes a change in the company’s legal name and a switch of its stock ticker symbol from NYSE: BOWL to NYSE: LUCK, marking a new chapter in for the company. The first of the local rebrands will launch within a party at Lucky Strike Rockville, located at 15720 Shady Grove Rd. in Gaithersburg.

The City of Gaithersburg started planning for its newest park last year, a 2.99 acre parcel located at the corner of Decoverly Drive and Steinbeck Avenue in Crown. The park will occupy a portion of the original 175-acre property that was annexed into the City in 2006. While the parcel is a generous size, after accounting for required easements and stream valley buffers, the usable park space will be about 1.5 acres.

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will begin the Brink Road Bridge Project, which spans Seneca Creek, for resurfacing work beginning at 6 a.m. on Friday, July 25. The project is scheduled to take four days to complete, weather and operational conditions permitting.

We are about two and an half weeks away from the return of the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair, which kicks off on Friday, August 8 and runs through Saturday, August 16. This will mark the 76th annual fair, and for the first time in a long time there will be no fair parking/shuttles from Lakeforest Mall. Additional information available below:
