Maryland’s sports wagering market generated $19 million in state contributions in November, its highest single-month return since the program launched, after bettors wagered more than $720 million and operators posted a 13.5 percent hold.
A Powerball ticket sold at the Columbia Road Exxon in Fairland won $50,000 after matching four of the five white balls plus the Powerball in the December 8 drawing. Maryland’s six casinos generated $158.8 million in gaming revenue in November 2025, a 0.4 percent increase compared to the same month in 2024, while statewide contributions to the state totaled $68.5 million, down 0.5 percent year over year.
