Bullis School standout Quincy Wilson, already the youngest male U.S. Olympian in track and field history, has announced that he’s committing to the University of Maryland. The decision was shared Monday evening on SportsCenterNext, where Wilson confirmed that he will continue his academic and athletic career just a short drive from his Potomac campus.

Montgomery County Alcohol Beverage Services will open registration on Nov. 30 for two limited availability whiskey lotteries that give residents and alcohol license holders a chance to purchase more than 500 bottles of highly allocated spirits, including George T. Stagg 2024 Bourbon, Heaven Hill Heritage 19 Year Bourbon, and Angel’s Envy Cellar Collection Vol. 5 Rye.

Good Counsel alumna and Silver Spring native Margaret “Midge” Purce capped off a remarkable comeback season by helping lead Gotham FC to a 1-0 victory over the Washington Spirit in the NWSL Championship. Purce, who played every minute of the title match, was a major part of Gotham’s run despite suffering a torn ACL just last year.
