The Maryland State Police (MSP) are alerting residents to a recent scam where individuals are impersonating state troopers and officers from other police agencies. The scammers are using deceptive tactics, including faking caller ID information to appear as legitimate law enforcement.
The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating an early Sunday double stabbing that occurred at approximately 2:34am on Sunday in the 19500 block of Amaranth Drive in Germantown, where multiple juvenile male suspects reportedly brandished BB guns and two adult men sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
