The National Restaurant Association is warning that newly announced tariffs on food and beverage imports by President Donald Trump could drive up costs for key menu items like coffee and hamburgers. The group says rising wholesale food prices and tight profit margins may force restaurants to raise menu prices, reduce customer traffic, and jeopardize industry jobs—urging the administration to exempt food and beverage items from ongoing trade negotiations.

Bao Bei has announced it will close its ghost kitchen at 11910 Parklawn Drive on August 1, after three years of service.
