On Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 5:30 – 8:30PM Bethesda Row will host “Shop for The Cause” in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month to benefit Selena Gomez’s Rare Impact Fund. Shoppers are invited by a VIP Host Committee – including Sara Azani, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Jess Bruchs, Kim Cruz, Annie Wu Henry, Alencia Johnson, Kimberly Johnson, Dr. Wendy Osefo, Libby Rasmussen, Dani Sauter and Rina Shah – to visit participating stores providing a % of proceeds to the organization. Reformation is now open at 4823 Bethesda Ave in Bethesda Row. Reformation is a “revolutionary lifestyle brand that proves that fashion and sustainability can coexist,” that combines stylish, vintage-inspired designs with sustainable practices. According to the company, “the new location marks Reformation’s first in the state of Maryland and second in the DMV area, expanding the brand’s global fleet to 41 stores. Like all Reformation stores, the Bethesda Row location incorporates natural and recyclable materials, including sustainable dressing room carpets, vintage furniture, eco-friendly fabrics, hangers made with FSC-certified wood, and reusable deadstock totes. The store will also offset 100% of its electricity usage with renewable energy.
Additionally, the store features six dressing rooms and showcases Reformation’s one-of-a-kind, tech-driven retail concept, which brings the best of its online experience to its physical doors. Per MCPD: Six suspects involved in a string of retail store pack thefts have been arrested. The six suspects; two adults and four juveniles, all from Washington, D.C., are accused of entering retail stores in groups and stealing large amounts of items from eleven Montgomery County stores between April 28 to June 15, 2023.
They are also suspected of pack thefts in D.C., and Anne Arundel County. During each of the thefts, the suspects used vehicles that were stolen or carjacked from D.C. The first of the two adults, 28-year-old Shaquille Pittman, is being held without bond. He is accused of stealing from Target on Western Ave (4/29/23), Ulta in the Congressional Shopping Center (5/8/23) and (6/15/23), Sephora in Pike and Rose (5/31/23), and The Nike Store on Arlington Road (6/8/23).

The store is open from 10am-8pm Monday-Saturday and 10am-7pm on Sundays.

Nike retail stores offer shoes and apparel that are new and come directly from the warehouse. They are generally priced at the normal retail price. This is different than a Nike Factory store, which sell products made specifically for the retail outlet or outlet out-of-season discounted goods.
