Limon’s Gems & Jewels, a historic family–owned jeweler in Bethesda and first reported closing by Robert Dyer, will close its doors this month after more than a century in business. Located at 7909 Norfolk Avenue, the business confirmed it will cease accepting new work during the first week of November and anticipates closing by Thanksgiving, with limited availability afterward to complete existing orders. Flavor Hive’s return to Germantown has drawn a massive crowd. By 11:15am, hundreds of people had already formed a line outside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School, eagerly waiting to grab a taste of the viral food truck’s famous chip bag meals and custom bowls. Organizers expect thousands of attendees throughout the day as the event continues until 8pm.

Two brothers won a combined $500,000 after purchasing ten winning Pick 5 tickets for the Oct. 29 midday drawing at the Sunoco gas station on Clarksburg Road in Clarksburg, marking the top Maryland Lottery prize of the week.
