A suburban office building, at 4110 Aspen Hill Rd. near Georgia Ave. in Aspen Hill, sold for $3.5 million.
Michael Brown of Suitland, Maryland, was arrested and charged with unlawfully discharging a firearm in a Silver Spring parking lot on November 3, 2024, after investigators identified him through surveillance footage and later found a loaded, unregistered handgun in his possession.

Two Silver Spring residents, 24-year-old Manuel Perez and 20-year-old Jonathan Cruz, were arrested and charged in connection with a series of wheel thefts spanning over two years. Following their initial arrest on March 4, investigators linked Perez to additional thefts dating back to December 2023, leading to a search of his residence where officers recovered a firearm and fentanyl pills; he later turned himself in on March 27 and now faces additional charges. ICE Baltimore announced that it arrested Wilmer Antonio Echenique-Navarro, who was referred to as a “Venezuelan alien & Tren de Aragua gang member” on March 18. ICE noted that “@PGCorrections failed to honor ICE detainer & released him, putting MD residents at risk. He remains in ICE custody.” about a year after his arrest for a murder in an unincorporated section of Takoma Park.
