Gaithersburg

A 15-year-old male is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting that occurred last night on the 18800 block of Walkers Choice Road.

According to police, at approximately 6:11 p.m., 6th District officers responded to calls of a shooting and upon arrival officers located a 15-year-old male suffering from a suspected gunshot to his chest. He was transported to an area hospital with serious injury.

Over a third of the Washington Football Team has been placed on the team’s Covid-19 list, which is now up to 21 players after 3 players were added earlier today (safety Kam Curl and centers Tyler Larsen and Keith Ismael).

Gaithersburg

Grog Beer and Wine at 524 N. Frederick Ave in the Gaithersburg Square shopping center is now closed and signage says the store will be moving to 513 Quince Orchard Rd in Gaithersburg this month. Grog was previously located in the space now occupied by Habit Burger.

Rockville

Police are investigating a death that occurred at the Rockville Memorial Library at 21 Maryland Avenue in Rockville Town Square on Wednesday evening.

At 6:04pm the Rockville City Police Department responded to a call about an unresponsive man found on the the second floor of the library.  When officers arrived they discovered a deceased 39 year-old male.
