Montgomery County Recreation is debuting a instructor-led sport and fitness programs at four community recreation centers beginning Tuesday, February 16.
The programs for youth and adults, known as RecFit–Limited, will be offered evenings at Bauer Drive, Nancy H. Dacek/North Potomac, Plum Gar and White Oak Community Recreation Centers. Registration is available on the County’s ActiveMontgomery website.
Forme Life has just opened it’s first Maryland retail location inside of Montgomery Mall (7101 Democracy Blvd, Bethesda). They sell in-home virtual studios that according to the company, “double as an elegant full-length mirror.” They are aiming to be the Peloton of studio fitness.
While no opening date has been announced, we spoke to a representative from Mezeh Mediterranean Grill in Germantown today that told us they hope to be open by the end of the month.

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, after consultation with County Health Officer Travis Gayles and based on data, has issued Executive Order 19-21AM that will reopen indoor dining at 25 percent capacity effective Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021 at 7 a.m. Under this Executive Order, indoor dining would be limited to a 90-minute dining period and alcohol sales will be suspended at 10 p.m. The executive order was approved today, Feb. 9, by the County Council.
A little while back, we let you know that Roti, a fast casual Mediterranean restaurant, was listed as temporarily closed in Pike & Rose. (At that time, their Chevy Chase location was listed as temporarily closed too.)
