King Arthur Baking Company at the Shops at Wildwood, located at 10207 Old Georgetown Rd has announced it will hold its grand opening on Saturday, August 2. This space, formerly home to Indigo Octopus until June 28th, will mark King Arthur Baking’s first location in Maryland. Indigo Octopus is relocating to Bethesda Row.

Last week the Montgomery County Council reviewed the revised MCPS Personal Mobile Devices (PMD) regulation that includes cell phones, smart watches tablets, and more. Our very own “Mr. MoCo” Alex Tsironis, a former MCPS teacher, went on FOX 5’s DMV Zone to discuss upcoming policy scheduled to begin during the 2025/2026 school year.

Beyond MoCo

Maryland’s all-you-can-eat pizza landscape has seen its final Cici’s slice disappear with the recent closure of the Frederick location at 5010 Buckeystown Pike. This marks the complete departure of the popular pizza buffet chain, according to the Cici’s Pizza website. The Frederick location’s phone number is no longer in service, and the restaurant is marked as closed on Google and Yelp. Additionally, it has been removed from the corporate website.
