Downtown Silver Spring

J&J Mex-Taqueria first opened in DC about a decade ago. The restaurant has since opened additional locations and is currently in a soft opening phase at Commas Food Hall in Ellsworth Place Mall (8661 Colesville Rd. Silver Spring, MD). While J&J operated at nearby Solaire Social (that stall is now known as Ay Mamma), diners shared that the J&J Supreme burrito is the “best burrito in Maryland and DC”– a distinction that was echoed by fellow stall operators at Solaire.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run incident in which a 22-year-old Gaithersburg man was critically injured after being struck by a bronze-colored vehicle while walking on Dorsey Road near Aviation Boulevard in Hanover, MD in the early hours of June 21, 2025. Maryland

The City of Rockville is poised for a significant enhancement to one of its recreational spaces, thanks to Maryland’s Community Parks and Playgrounds program. As part of Governor Wes Moore’s FY 2026 budget, Rockville has been allocated $225,000 for the replacement of the playground at Fallsgrove Park.
